Crecentia Curran,
Law Enforcement Liaison
Crecentia Curran has been a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation since 2009. In 2011, Crecentia joined the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF), where she focuses on investigations involving ISIS/ISIL, al-Qa’ida, and Homegrown Violent Extremists. Additionally, Crecentia serves as the Terrorism Financing Coordinator for the FBI Charlotte Division. Prior to her time on the JTTF, Crecentia investigated white collar crimes, concentrating on accounting fraud. Before joining the FBI, Crecentia worked in compliance for Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO), which manages bulk power transmission and the market associated with bulk power trading across 15 U.S. states and the Canadian province of Manitoba. Crecentia began her career with KPMG Indianapolis, where she worked for several years in financial auditing, focusing on clients in software development, manufacturing, and automotive industries.
Since 2006 Crecentia has been a licensed CPA. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, both from Indiana State University.
